MasterCard introduced Start Path Global, a new six-month collaboration program aimed at startups .
As announced in a statement, the accelerator was born with the intention of helping these small businesses, which do not need to move their headquarters.
The proposal does not involve sharing of business interests and provides access to more than 60 MasterCard experts , as well as the possibility of accessing pilot projects with the company or with company clients; And the total possession of any intellectual property they have developed.
Thanks to the international development of the program, startups will also benefit from access to Start Path Partners, a group of more than 20 companies in sectors such as banking , distribution or technology, including Rakuten, Samsung Card, TSYS , Target, Bank of Montreal and Santander Innoventures.
Each quarter, MasterCard Start Path will select a new group of startups to join the six-month virtual program. The call for applications to be part of the next process will be open until 18 September 2015.
