Banco Santander has launched Mundo Hogar. It is an innovative digital platform aimed at providing Mexican consumers with an alternative to access a wide range of home products and services.
Direct financing
Developed in collaboration with HomeIn, this platform brings together a broad range of financial and technological solutions in one place. The offering includes the hiring of services such as moving and remodeling, as well as the purchase of furniture, appliances, and home assistance plans, all in a simple and digital manner.
Currently, Mundo Hogar brings together more than 100 companies specializing in remodeling, 150 moving companies, and a catalog of 10,000 home products and services, offering personalized options that cater to the needs of Mexican families.
A key element of this initiative is its focus on accessible financing. Santander customers will be able to take advantage of certain benefits, such as deferred payments for up to 36 months with no interest throughout the year, thus facilitating home improvements and maintenance.
Additionally, the user experience is fully digital, allowing visitors to quote, simulate, and hire services in a transparent and efficient manner. This marks a milestone for Santander Mexico and the Latin American market as the first bank to offer such solutions on a specialized platform.
Success expectations
In its first year, Mundo Hogar is expected to attract over 6 million visits, positioning itself as a competitive and transformative tool. The initiative strengthens the bank’s commitment to combining technological and financial innovation to improve the quality of life for its customers.
With this offering, Banco Santander Mexico aims to redefine how families manage their domestic needs.
